i am doing a efi conversion and i was just wondering if anybody has got any pics of the cps sensor also i have got the hole in the block but do i have to have any brackets or anythink cheers

 

There is a bracket/holder than bolts into the block from the gearbox side, also there is 2 types of sensor as i found out doing my turbo conversion... An Xr2i or Xr3i CPS is longer than a fiesta turbo one, and the holder matches the sensor.

If the holder sticks out of the block around 25mm/1inch then you need the longer sensor, if the holder sits 5-10mm out then the shorter sensor in required IIRC...

What do you need picture of TPS for?

I have EFi escort so can get a picture easy enough, it's non turbo but same setup.

 

Its ok having the cps sensor and bracket and even the hole in the block. But do you have a flywheel to work with it.

 

Hi mate, ive got a holder somewhere i can take a few pics of if you like, and a part number.

You can still buy them from ford, mine was a fiver.

The holder needs to be fitted to the block before you fit the gear box iirc. As Jano says you need the efi flywheel too

Got plenty of pics kicking about of random efi stuff just ask mate.
