Is it possible to keep the standard series 2 anti roll bar with an mtx conversion as I keep seeing a lot about rs1600i and series 1 arb's?

If your going to the time effort and expense of fitting a mtx then ffs sort tje handling and fit either a s1 or rs16i roll bar

S2 ARB is a bit toilet to be honest so you'd be better off getting either a S1 or an RS1600i item, ive started the thread on the RS1600i arb so i know now how to get them to work with an BC or IB5 gearbox but theres been no talk of fitment with a MTX. I should imagine it will fit with a S2 ARB because people seem to do the conversion and the arb isnt an issue.

Just keep an eye out on ebay as an S1 or RS1600i ARB seems to pop up on there every other week just depends how lucky you get and how deep your pockets are!!

 

Some cheap one's pop up on ebay from time to time which are still good, i got my s1 atb for £60 inc p+p

ive got mtx gearbox out of rs2000, been told i need rs1600i art which i have, the arb has a leg for gearbox mount , rear mount i got from a mk3 orion will need to mod it but not sure how yet, i was on here looking for ready made mounts but jus goin to try it myself, cheapest n best way, if i do it i know it will b over engineered,
