Default Misfiring on full boost

Hi my series 2 escort rs turbo miss fires and pops back 2-3 times when I try put me foot down in all gears Any ideas

I suspect either a fueling or ignition problem somewhere.

domt keep tryying it mate could cause harm.. check the spark plugs bud..leads. injector wires etc change the plugs first

mine did this, replaced the metering head, sorted now

had the exact same problem with my saff on the weekend plugs and leads sorted it

I put new plugs and leads in at the weekend and no difference

i paid £60 for a good second hand one, they sell them on ebay, but you are better looking on the for sale secion on here less chance of getting ripped off. im no expert but if your running mfi its a good chance its the metering head.

Yeah it does sound lean, I would get the fuelling and timing setup asap or you may find you'll have a dead engine soon.

Mine did this and it turned out to be the disributor cap took it off and could see where it had been tracing inside,
worth a try seing as they are so cheap

It was ticking over dodgy revs goin up and down but me uncle adjusted the fuel and It stopped and ticks over fine at the mo just misses on full boost

sounds like u should maybe book it in with someone who knows how to fine tune mfi

Recon metering head costs nearly 400quid.
Better off searching in the sales section if this is the problem.

Mate you really should get it tuned now by someone who know's mfi, as the on boost fueling may be way out!

Me bro adjusted the timing and it's fine now no poping or banging and no miss firing so good news will also take it for a propper tune up
