Here you go, xr2 alternator and bracket.
Then just mod the cosworth single pipe exhaust to suit.
Look in my link below sig.

I have been messing around with the alternator today moveing it down and there's still not room as the wire's on the alternator will be nearly touching and when i heat wrap it will be even closer do you think that if i change to a xr2 alternator & bracket that it might give me a tiny bit more room

defo change to the xr2 alternator and bracket, it hangs under the bracket not over, with a pipe like mine i had lots of clearance.

this is a pic of my ZT in my xr2 with engine pushed forwards 12mm and a sierra 90amp alternator (a few tweaks and i now have 10mm clearance from alt to crossmember).
there is more space in an escort though too.
