Default rst problem

sinds sunday my car is making this wierd noise , its like a freakin subaru id expected it would run on 3 cilinders but the engine itself is running on 4 and real smooth. yesterday i changed the exhaust manifold gasket still no change it was blowing a little so thats cleared out. its really annoying me .
The harder you press the gaspedal the harder the sound gets i still think its exhaust related. when the turbo comes in its at its loudest.
Its also making these little ticking sounds in the exhaust i think it is just cant say where its all coming from
Any ideas what would make such a sound?

Thanks

How old is your back box? Could be baffle related.

its a mongoose or scorpion dont really know, and its about 5-6 years old. previous owner put on a new exhaust when the chassis was being restored.
The sound is coming from the front the rear has a little diffrent tone now but i can hear something blow from the front but i put on a new exhaust mani gasket en reconnected the downpipe en its in good position and tight.
I've got no powerloss but the car just sound very wierd en its actually really loud. Im guessing maybe its blowing in between the turbo and manifold? or maybe a crack somewhere?

I had this on mine and it turned out to be the flap in the turbo exhaust elbow cept sticking.take the actuator rod off the arm and wiggle the arm ,unjam it.worth a try

if it was the flap wouldnt i have increased boost than? mine stays on 8 psi all the time. got no performance issues really, just that awful sound.
When the car is idling you can slightly hear something blowing, if you rev it a bit it gets abit louder but on flatout riding its just so loud really similar to what some people call subaru noise?
Going to work on monday ( free day for me ) to get it on the bridge and look from underneath maybe ill find something..

thanks
