Default .63 exhaust housing

What is the next size down from .63? I'm worried that my engine will blow a piston again because of boost spike, I don't care about the lag because I like it but even with a rr setup and running omex 600 is there still a chance it will happen again?

I was also looking at the t3 upgrade thing on ebay that gives you:
A/R 60 Compressor housing
Backplate (T04B Style)
T34 Compressor Wheel

Is this worth buying?

Thanks Joe

.55 is the next size down but why do you want such a big housing, A .48 can just about make 300bhp what power are you aiming for and what's your full spec mate?
If it's mapped correctly you should never destroy a piston... doesnt matter what management your running!
If thats one of the cheapo chinese ebay turbo's then stay well clear.

Its a s2. And yeah i was running mfi and didnt get it setup haha

I have stage 3 head, newmans cam, omex 600, Fmic with twin fans, cossie injectors, exhaust..

But like i said i wasnt running omex etc when i did it so i wasnt sure if it would be ok when its all setup properly..

Joe

Oh and its not a cheap chinese one off ebay, its a t3 off a cossie just with .63 exhaust housing on it..Whats your opinions on the T34 upgrade pack? its from turborebuild.co.uk

guess lack of fuel killed the piston, if the ecu is mapped correctly with injectors the engine will be fine. just bit of lag

A T34 is too much for a CVH head on most engines. Obviously there is exceptions.
If you want a larger turbo than the 4x4 T3 Compressor wheel & housing, i would advise the T35 as it is much better design for our fwd setups than the T34 is.

I built a Fiesta ZVH with L6 greys and T35 with .63 and made 320bhp almost 10 years ago now.

due to the fact that they are not fitted to any petrol engine its very unlikely, unless you find someone who has one i have built in the past for sale.

That made 320bhp with that inlet? Must have kept it rather rich?

Through a bad learning curve I found out just how shit they were at 250 and just how good my own inlet is compared, the difference is huge and the cost of a custom I'd never run a standard one again IMHO!
