Looking back at some older posts on google, apparently you can adapt the throttle cable? Im just converting to efi and didnt have a clue you would have to do this, is there any way around buying 3i cable and pedal? doesnt seem to be many around on ebay or anywhere, what other ones can be used if any?

Ask me a question!

ERST throttle cable is held in place on the throttle by a metal clip on a ball at both ends same as a cosworth.
FRST has a slot for the cable to slide through and pin which is held in place with spring tension. Its similar to a push bike cable. At the pedal end its a rubber gromet and large ball to stop it pulling through the hole in the pedal.
In your case just use the correct cable.
For other setups that use a cosworth throttle body an Escort type cable must be used, although the pedal type does not matter as it can be modified.
Hope that helps.
