Default s1 turbo same as s2?

as above are the turbo and manifold the same?

think manifolds are the same mate,s1 turbo is not water cooled but s2 is.
there both same spec t3 though

Same apart from the above . used to run s1 on my s2 just have to block off the water feed and return. Had mine on to lower water temps. but all in all will fit on. no props

s1 manifold sits closer to the block than a s2 as i found out to my misfortune when the s1 manifold hit my zetec block so had to use a s2 which clears the block!

so il be able to use an s2 turbo on a s1 engine? (and its for my van if that makes a difference)

Yes, if you dont want it to be watercooled you will have to block off the waterways on the turbo.
