Angry bought my first 2.1zvh, fueling help needed

as title says, the bloke told me it has a custom cam, stage 3 head (but not bigger valves) stage 3 t3. superchip ecu's, forged pistons ettc but still mfi. it was running a safe 0.9bar but was not as fast as i thought it should be for the engine spec. i turned the boost up to 1.1 bar but i am concerned about fueling. at what point do i need to be running a 5th injector? i have heard about modified fuel metering units as i assume mine is standard. i have also heard about people running 1.7bar with similar setups.....
i want to be get the most out of the engine while just on the side of safe
also dont think it has been mapped/rolling roaded

this is the 2nd rst i have had and i am a mechanic/mot tester by trade so i know my way around a car, but not really done this side of things.

what is the best way forward for my slow ford?

Turn the boost back down mate!
MFI will be setup (or should be) to fuel only for what boost it was running at the time of the setup, if you want to run more you will need to take it to a tuner and have them set the fuelling and timing for you, unless you have a WBO2 and a set of Det Cans of course then you could do it yourself.

i am not convinced it has ever been set up tbh, is it worth just taking it to a specialist? i dont really want a massive bill so soon after forking out a hole lot of cash for the car. is it an expensive job to have them set up the fuel right for higher boost levels?

About Ł100-Ł150 depending which tuner you take it to, if it's never been setup then it will be running lean and would probably have melted by now.

Setup and tunes on MFi shouldnt cost as much as that!

You really should have it tuned and see what someone with experiance has to say about your setup. Good or Bad at least you will know where you stand.

Jano

An hour at most reputable tuners with a RR print out will cost around that MFI or not.
I'm sure Jano will do it for half that as a quick blat up the road a tweak of the EMFPA and distributer doesnt take long lol
