Hi all
Ive started the long and daunting task of restoring my s2. Ive got sum1 one hpopefully to do the welding. But after i was told to do he whole floor with red oxide but then do i put waxoyl or stonechip down any help be greatly appreciated

Stone chip I would imagine, have a look through some of the restoration projects on here

Stonechip you can paint over, like a heavy primer almost. Can imagine you can paint over wax-oil.

just done my series 1 cleaned all the underside then i used super etch on the bare metal then seam sealed then stone chipped it and then white hammerite only mistake imade was to use grey stonechip so i could see where i had painted but it took a lot of covering
