right, I want to put some component speakers in the rear on the rs turbo in the standard fitment places.

what is the biggest size speaker i can fit in the original space without mods??

nt very big at all, y nt just get sum 6x9s on the back shelf if u dnt wna cut that u can put em underneath

yeh i know its not very big, i have a built up shelf ATM with some infinty kappa 6x9's but want to put an original shelf back in[security reasons] and put some high quality components in the original space.

I was thinking 4" , but have not the car outside to check

the rear speakers are 5.25 inch mate

Is that 100% , is that what the standard ones are or is that what will fit in there???

that is standard size.dont think bigger ones will fit unless you get a bigger housing for them.halfords sell them i think.
