Default I know some will say im sad but....

I want the dump valve on my s2 Rs turbo to be as loud as possible . I currently have a forge fast-road item, which i believe is a group 'a' or summat (or did i just make that up-im not sure) but its not quite as loud as the bailey i had on my old rst. If anyone would like to swap my one for a baileys then let me know, also will it be louder if i take off the foam filter? Or will it ruin it? P.s Padvg or whatever i know your views so don't have a go at me!!

If you want more 'blowin' sound, buy one with a horn on it, or a blower... don't know how to call it.

Ask for it at your car modify shop...

I've got the same forge dump valve as yours except it hasn't got the foam on, i think its just an extra, it should be fine, mine sounds mint.

How much boost are you running obviously the more boost your running the louder your dump valve will sound. I have a bailey DV26 twin piston dump valve and it sounds the buisness. I notice since i had my car chipped the dump valve sounds much louder. going from 7-9 p.s.i up to 17 p.s.i what a big difference it made

Why do you think dump valves are . Are they just sales gimmicks because i thought a dump valve makes your turbo last longer because with out one you get back pressure on the bearing or as its called (compressor stall)and they also help with lag and also sound nice. I suppose everyone has their own opinion

They dont make it last any longer bottom line is they run better without dump valves on majority of cars is just to get noticed and serve no purpose , dont get me wrong some of the BIG booster cossies/rst`s may be better off with one

i bought a twin piston forge motorsport item when my car was running standard boost (7 psi) and it wasnt enough to actually force the piston back and dump one off.
I took it back to larkspeed and swapped it for another, this time it was there but only just. Sounds a lot better at 15+ psi

Taken off the foam filter now and at same time cleaned valve with wd40 & hot water, now twice as loud and a sharper sound.
