Just fitted my new helix clutch and mk6 pedal and I have two queries.
First: the pedal is sitting a little bit higher then the brake pedal, but the biting point is right in the carpet.
Second: does anyone else have a Helix organic "200Ft Lbs" clutch fitted, and how vicious is yours? I stalled the car about 5 times just trying to reverse off the driveway.
AP Organic CP2000-35 mate.
Oh BTW Mine is very vicious, bites almost like a paddle clutch but without the judder, everyone that drives my car stalls at least twice! lol

Ahh mine is pretty much the same deal (power ratings) but from helix. Except I got it for Ł200
Yeah it is a bit vicious, it does judder a little bit as well.

I got the pedal new off ebay (alexcabrio). Was about Ł40 posted. I would go for the alloy quadrant: http://extremesportsproducts.com/ind...d&productId=17 Because fitting a new pedal and quadrant is a very fiddly job and I would want to do it again any time soon. Its just not worth using a plastic one.
Alexcabrio just buys all his stuff from Ford and whacks on a premium so may as well go to Ford unless they don't have any of course then you have little choice.
Mine juddered for a few days till it bedded in, flywheel was skimmed of course too.

Yeah that's what I thought, unfortunately my local ford stockist didn't have any pedals so I had to bite the bullet.
Yeah I'll see how mine is after a few hundred miles.
