if its the small pace ic then you have to little brackets which kick the rad over. But if its the big ic the i think the rad and ic go in as one then you bolt it in . It is a long time since i worked there or performance ford done a big spread years ago on the big ic and now i think about it they prob done one on the small one years before that. What one do you have ?

its the large full front mount, it is in place already but sits very very close to the rad and my engine is always getting up to temp and then the fans kick in and drop but i have seen the temp get all the way up to the top of norm just seems the fans are used alot! to keep it regulated? this is mainly idiling after a run btw but reading the pace web site, it says kit includes Radiator re-location brackets?? mines just bolted to intercooler? and noticed the other grs front mount has 6 inch of space between??

I have one of these and it is supposed to be very close. Leave it alone mate as long as the temps stay within tolerance. It's a cracking intercooler.

Hello mate they do sit close in the ideal world you should seal the rad to the ic and the ic to the slam panel giving the air only one place to go, through the rad. they do make the car warm up abit quick when static but this is not helped by the turbo being so close but a turbo jack and wrapped manifold would help to, what you have to remember is you have a big object infront of your rad which is not the best when static, if you dont have a alloy rad then it would be worth it as it will still get hot but it will cool of alot quicker once you are back moving another option is taking the water off the turbo if you dont have a roller bearing turbo and just give your engine a little more time to warm up before nailing it and also abit more time cooling down to

or pop down your local ( helpfull ) car spares shop and buy a rad fan switch with the different temps , if you find out what your one is ( this is normally stamped on the bit that screws in the rad it will say to numbers ie 89/79 for example, then you buy one with 89/72 or something like that which will keep the fans on for a bit more or go for 87/70 for example this will get them working sooner and off when its cooler than normal ,it all helps

Sealing the rad and intercooler and the intercooler to slam panel is a good shout...
When my fans kick in there is alot of excess air being blown around - not through the rad!
