Default Non Custom Series 2's

Hi people,

I was just wondering how rare and sought after are non-custom series 2's?

They are obviously genuine RS turbo shells, but with no sunroof and the usual other non custom refinements, no electric windows/mirrors.

Any info on value/rarity and how sought after they may be would be helpful, thanks in advance

One was for sale a while ago but went for normal rs money for its condition. I think the problem is that however rare they are i would always choose the car with the electric windows, mirrors and heated front screen.....

Aside from the potential sunroof rust who wouldn't choose the more equipped model?!

I beleive in S2 there is no 'custom' and 'non-custom' models,

all rst s2's C plate and D had no sunroof or electrics.

After this they all had electric windows and mirror's with the optional trip computer from 90' and std Heated front screen

Custom models were for Series one?

There were definitely custom and non-custom models.

Mine's a D plate with sunroof and electric windows...

The option of having a non custom dissapeared in 1988 as after that all cars were speced with the Recaro seats, central locking, electric windows, sunroof and heated screen etc.
