I got a Blue Point wrench (claw shape) works very well, if very tight you cant beat a screwdriver and hammer!

i've got a strap one and a claw one.
claw one wins everytime, i find the strap ones slip and slide if there are isues getting to it easily.

I've numerous filter wrenches at work, claw type, strap, band, plier type, plus you can use waterpump pliers, worked on a renault modus recently and could only use a pry bar and hammer
