I need a set of up rated conrods for my cvh rst but dont really want to spend ££££s on some steel farndon ones ive found some in a old racetek catalogue it say they are a special crossflow type 2737e and are meant to be very strong and there only £175 a set.Ive heard also of other companys that use different rods too but dont no any names has any one used the ones from racetek or any other ones...

only used burton ones...a m8 got a piar cheap for about £500ish with accralite pistons

jon, what boost u gonna run?, i heard that standard rods can take up to around 22 psi, thats why i didnt bother with mine, daves have been fine and he runs 24 psi, robs was also ok.

 

I'd go Farndon if you are running big boost, very £££ but you pay for what you get imo. as above, i wouldn't like to run 22psi for long on standard rods, seen em exit in style boosting less

 

Will start off running 20psi then max will be 24 its just my engines started to owe me a lot of money now and i want it to last this time.

had a rod brake at only 15psi in last engine
