i find it hard to believe it makes performance worse.AS shows the fiesta producing better power and torque.Surely they wouldn't lie.Losing 8bhp on the second design they done?

Says you can gain up to 20bhp.They got 15bhp increase.Just trying to work out why someone would get worse bhp figures using it.....

This is proving interesting lol...

I don't know why its classed as a "Tubular" but i'd be interested in it as its stainless steel and looks good, altho i'd wrap it so looks aint an issue!

APARANTLY the finish is terrible so some need refacing. and carbon build up is bad..... orsomthing along them lines.

well its very easy to lose power gain from adding it but to get any gain you would need to take various other things into account

For example having a big valve head with all the port work done etc,id expect gains adding this exhaust manifold. The difference is,port 2 and 3 are no longer joined with the same exhaust exit as the ford item does.Spose to help better exhaust flow.

Think ill get in contact with the guys and see what they say.Still tempted to buy it myself. If it don't work, then ill stick the old one back on.Try and error.

i had abig valve head which was ported with ph4 newman cam etc. it was the first design i had not the 2nd. of corse they're gonna say its an improvment over standard its ''THEIR'' product ! anybody that make things like this are gonna say they are better than the standard product otherwise they wouldn't sell would they?
there are enough rst's that have produced over 300bhp with the standard manifold which are proven.
agreed that some aftermarket manifolds will make some difference, as in an equal length tubula manifold will aid spool up time etc. but i can't see how an 'as' tubula will make any difference as all they have done is merged cyl 2&3. I just think if that made such a diffence to the performance then FORD wouldn't of desisned the manifold in such a way that they did.

they are described as tubular as there made of tube and not cast..thought that would be easy enough to understand? had no running issues with ours just it cracked in half and the turbo nearly fell off lol.. welded up properly and back in action lol

Was it worth buying Frsjon?

Yeah im guessing there must be a reason they did a weird design? (ford item made back in the 80's)

worth buying over a standard one?? well it depends what you want ...better looking?. yes..stronger?..no..more power?.. not had a before and after power figure so cant comment but speaking to other and it seems flow rates change so boost is earlier (less lag on bigger turbo's )
the reason it looks just like a escort one would be just for ease of fittment..everything else in the bay will just bolt back on

They look nice if you wrap them in black heat wrap.

Prehaps it comes delivered in a turban? Or suffered high amounts of turbulance when in transit?

I personally wouldn't wrap the standard cast manifold. There's a good chance it will crack. Mine did.

The main reason why i bought one was for looks but it didn't last long as it discolured very quick and for power I only noticed a tiny bit nothing major.

Well if it aids spool up time and reduces lag then its gonna be a winner right?
Altho if it cracks it must be on par with a standard 1...
Be nice to see some before and after graphs/figures to compare it to a standard manifold!
