Megasquirt and fuel relays,
Right,
I can nearly see the light at the end of the dark tunnel my car build has been, my next hurdle is wiring in my megasquirt.
Have people use the original relay in its original position with wiring etc or have you made a new loom and used a new style relay.
And where have you put your ecu? i was going to be lazy and go in the glove box, but i might find the energy to mount it on the back of the glove box with an extender cable.
Cheers

I just used a 30amp 4 pin relay, and used the normal fuel pump live feed and ignition live too, MS outputs are always ground switching.
My ECU is behind my clocks to the left a bit, probably more behind the heater vents now that I think about it, all wires ran through the speedo grommet, only thing I had to extend was the CPS wires.

mine is still how ford intended it when it was mfi and all i had to do was re do 2 wires that went to the relays so it knows when to prime then re start when engine actually running left me spares to run other stuff

no just one wire think it's grey/black but not sure long time ago now but so you can have all new wiring to your pump i'd do it karlos's way i was just in a rus when i did it sometime this summer i'll re do mine to make sure all the voltage is getting to the pump but i do run a fuel pressure guage so can see it's atleast rising right
