You will REALLY struggle to fit due to pipe routing.

if know a good welder you could just use the core and fabricate your own end tanks and pipes to fit how you want.

okay then so it will be a nightmare, maybe need to look at one made for a rs then, any good budget ones out there? Also would there be a noticable instant gain acheived by fitting?

the reason for going for a large/bigger intercooler is purely to allow safer/lower act temps (air charge temp). theres plenty of cheap intercoolers out there which are simple to fit. airtec are budget intercoolers and have good results.

There are also plenty of 2nd hand ones like grs, airtec, pro-alloy about on ebay ,on here, rs owners club etc you can normally pick a decent one up for around £150 with slimline fans.

I fitted that exact kit to a fiat coupe 20v turbo, kept the original IC in place too...

Universal basically means, chopping, welding pipes and 'making' it fit rather than "oh that pipes a nice fit there, look it all hookes up rather well..."

buy something that fits, the end.

Is look at getting an auto specialists cooler if your on a budget. Come with fans and fitting kit for 285 quid. Factor in another 150 quid for a set up once its fitted as well.
