Relocation of Fuse Box - UPDATE: Trial fit
What you think of putting the fuse box here? Going to have the wires going through the inner wing, up and round the wheel arch and out by the front crossmember.
Reason for doing this as i want a less cluttered engine bay and want to hide all the wiring.
In this last one you can see where i have marked the inner wing where the hole would go.
What you guys think about this idea?

Excellent idea Matt, and your the same as me and conor above in the way that our wiring looms are out of our bays at moment and we're all thinking of where to run the wiring etc to hide it.
Your ideas good, although i do wonder will you have to extend alot of the wiring i.e the wiring which goes across to the heater box, and even all the wiring that goes to the headlights etc where as its going to be running in inner wing and in and out of wings etc its taking a longer journey than its original fuse box starting point.

Matt- if your doing a trial fit mate, could u see first if you could get away with not having to extend yeah? Im wondering if i may get away with not having to if i dont put my fuse box in the car yet i was going to drill a hole in the wing and have wiring go into the wing then out again by the front indicator.

cheers mate, soldering iron on order then lol
Weird question, but how did u go about securing it in the wings? As im thinking if i run it there i can have the holes welded up in engine bay but obviously theres nonthing on other side inbetween the wings to secure clips to unless i use the original holes, which would then leave bolt heads visible in engine bay, if that makes sense.

Actually thats a good idea Matt, when i have the small bit of welding done on my car soon i'll get the guy to weld on a few 10mm screws on the inside of the wing.
Conor yeah can do mate, nice one.

It will take you at least that long, Matt. It's so, so time consuming. If your hiding all the wiring it will take even longer again. Not a job to taken lightly. Well worth doing though.

It's not really a hard job, just done go into it thinking, I'll move my Fusebox Sunday afternoon  it does take a long time, but when you sit down and think about it, it's not difficult.
I cut and soldered my loom to extend it, making sure the wire wasn't dry and dusty inside etc and was in good condition.

I guess there isnt that many wires to extend for the front is there, lights, fans, and couple of other plugs. Would ideally like to run it through the wing and then along inside the bottom box secton of the front panel.
Also been thinking-- you could relocate the horns to inside drivers side wheel arch, just behind front bumper where washer bottle is on other side, would be plenty of room wouldnt there to fit them there.
