right i always had slight problem with temps thought it was just lack of air gettin to the rad as have front mount and 88 spec with bib spoiler but ive notice my water going down very quickly i found it to be when it gets hot running temp when i accelerate a fine mist/spray is coming from the front of block just behind turbo but to the left side dont look like one of the core plugs as not coming directly from it but hard to tell as its hidden behind turbo could it be block cracked and getting worse with more use and heat is there any way of telling for sure ? and would a block crack like that it cant be bad as its like a glass cleaner spray bottle any ideas ?

Last time I spoke to Karl Norris he was saying that cracking CVH blocks have been becoming more and more common over the last 5 years, metal fatigue being the cause, 20+ years of being heated up and cooled down over and over again, so quite likely it is cracked yes.
Oh and the same goes for heads too, most commonly around the spark plug thread and valve seats.

what can you do about a cracked block?can you still buy new blocks? uprated ford 909 spec?
building a big power 16cvh isnt cheap,id want to factor the extra cost of a decent block into the equation as well.......
