It might help also that i have 335mm 4 pot ap's on the front.
The price of them nearly put my off but apart from them the only other thing i needed to do was change one of the brake line ends from male to female.
I THINK they are from a ka i will see if i have the finis number still

isnt there a way of adjusting the standard proportioning valve to apply less effort to the rears?
On an rst you can change the length of the load compensator rods/move the compensator. The longer the rod/the higher the wheel the greater the braking effort. The shorter the rod ie like having a wheel lower in the wheel arch, or less stuff in the boot, the less the braking effort,
So in theory you can adjust them, and nearly all lowered rst fuck the rear brake set up any way. You would be best doing it on a roller brake set up at a friendly MOT station.

Ive got Mk3 Mondeo/St170 front discs on my Non ABS Orion, with ebc greenstuff rear drum shoes... That setup is really good for fast road and track.
I'd like to upgrade to rear discs in the future, but i've heard that the rears lock up with the rear discs fitted with the standard bias valve...?
