Depends entirely on what you actually want? Want it FIA approved? Or just a road one? Any particular make/model? Rally design do a basic bucket for £117, which is well made, and looks the business (it's quite wide though, so make sure it fits you). You can't just say 'I want a bucket, cheap please'.

Twins, sorry for being personal, but how 'wide' are you Because the seats were quite wide iirc. Just wondered how you got on with them :/

I tried sitting in one and there was about half an inch either side, wasn't snug, but wasn't overly too wide, but I have no idea how tight they should be, given as I've never bought buckets before!

Default Dimensions RMD

Mega bump!

Looking into these RMD maximum protection seats at present for my toy and would love to know the inner seat dimensions! Rally design appear to be terrible at getting in contact.

I'm a 38/40inch waist guy and my thighs must measure around 450-465mm when seated.

I know Jamie from fast ford has these seats but in one thread I read he never got round to measuring them up.

Cheers for any help... sorry for the bump

I ended up buying one, I've obviously beefed up (I blame beer ) and it fits me perfectly!

Mine measures about 38cm across the inside of the seat(where your hips would be)

I'm after some Cobra or Corbeau Evolution/Revolution seats, or even Recaro Pro's. They keep selling under my nose
