I'm with Rob here in that it's fucking cool and drivability must be vastly improved compared to other similarly powered cars, which i think is what Rob was trying to get across in the first place before it went off in tangents about ALS and insurance!

what about twin staged turbos? my dad had a new twin turbo ttdi saab, a tiny turbo and a big one, made boost from idle, never felt any changeover either. Exhaust manifold and boost pipes where a work of art!

this is tight for space! but mind you you only need one big turbo when you have 2.8 litres to spin it!

You keep making me out to be stupid Jano, i think thats what i got annoyed about, i didn't go and look it up i just knew, the fact that most websites agree with me doesn't mean i did a copy and paste? You wrote enough words with out giving an answer...

Its not your bad language, as much as your bad attitude. Not just towards me either as many people have mentioned your name to do with being annoying and someone that they didnt like on PF because of the way you go round things. Now i understand why, shame really a it looks like you could have some useful brain waves in there somewhere.
Jano its the internet, i get along with some people on here really well and othesr not so much, i don't look for arguments or bad feelings etc, i just can't tolerate bullshit (im not talking about you here) but when some tit is giving advice to people who don't know any better or are trying to learn, bad advice has terrible consequences.

Rob i have a bussiness to run, sitting here chatting shit with you is last on the list of things to do.. If your that bothered have a look on my site where i have posted over 50 graphs from engines i have maped or been involved with. Then check out over 70videos i have put on youtube.
Jano, i have massive respect for you primarily because you are running a business, but you have had plenty of opportunity's to stop replying or end the argument, you have just sidestepped an issue not resolved it. All i did was start a thread saying look thats a cool idea, there was no real need for you to get involved and rant on about what was better etc.

So you honestly think that a lauch is harder on the car than going round the track sideways????and no its not at 20mph (Sly piss take yet again from you). HOW MANY
TRACK DAYS HAVE YOU DONE IN YOUR CAR TO COMPARE?
If you had a look on youtube like i said from the start, maybe you wouldnt make so many guess's and assumptions.
No, not a sly piss take, i said 20 or 120 and nothing to do with you, you just can't help trying to make others look stupid in a bid to make your self look better, Have a look on youtube? why.... And yes actually Jano that is a fact, a hard launch puts your car (gear box, diff etcetc) under more stress than throwing your car side ways, your trying to move at least a ton from a standstill, your not trying to brake traction on an object that is already moving.

How many people do you know that have blown up gearboxes, diffs, clutches, engine mounts etcetc, going sideways? compare that to people doing launches at the pod for instance.....

I've been on a track once, was cool would love to do it again, but at the same time i've probably done at least 40-50 runs at the pod.

This isn't guess work, im educated enough to draw conclusions from things i have done and what others have done too.

Im sorry you got so upset about it Jano and had to go off topic so much.

Thanks mate, thats the only point i really wanted to make lol just that is looked like a bizarrely cool thing to do.

Thats another cool idea, think its called compound charging, where you feed the out let from one into the other.....

You also get a multiplier effect, so if the small turbo was set at 7psi and fed into a larger turbo set at 7psi the out put is 21psi not the 14 expected..... Its how they do big power diesel trucks fucking insane!

Love that golf mate, friend of mine shoved one in a mk2 golf a while ago, they supercharge/turbo really really well to
