underbody resto advice???

Been weighing up wether to do an underbody resto, just seeing everyones thoughts on it and how much the costs are roughly, would be doing all the work myself, any advice would be great, cheeRS

it seems solid underneath, went throught the mot last month wit no worries, just abit worried about taking it back and finding somes holes

best to take it back now and discover small holes than to leave it until those small holes become big enough to show themselves through years of underseal and filth
for pure peace of mind in knowing that u have taken it right back, etch primered it, seam sealed all the joints, then covered with whatever stonechip type coating u go for, giving it a really good rust proofing, its well worth the effort

that is spot on m8 cheers, i would be more than happy wit a finish like that, you have done a mega job of that.
How much do you think it cost you in total and what stone chip primer did you use??
Was that just spray can red??

paint cost me £100 ish in total (I have pm'd details of what i got)
Powdercoating cost me £80 cash but i did have two extra wishbones done and sold them for £70 on ebay so that basically paid for itself.
Zinc plating of nuts and bolts/brackets/gearshift selectors and fuel lines was £40
Various other items i.e clips/brake pipes etc cost about £35/£40
The fuel pump carrier was £115 (expensive but well worth it) plus about another £100 on various odds and sods - braided hoses etc etc but obviously you may not want to take it that far
