Default Flexi exhaust section..

.. I hit what looked like a breeze block yesterday and have ripped a hole in the flexi section of my exhaust (Magnex IIRC), there was oncoming traffic so I couldnt swerve to avoid it, fucking lucky it didnt do more damage really! But still.. lol

Can I buy that section seperately does any one know, and is it a Magnex as there are no markings that I can see on it?

Cheers!

Sorry to hear that mate.I had same thing happen three times down the same road section near me.Funny thing was each time something was in the road, was something different and a little futher round the corner and just like you, there was no where to move, apart from on coming traffic.Lucky me got solid exhaust system but even they can only take so much.Hear a slight leak since bottomed out at petrol station :-(

Thanks for that, unfortunately they only do one length and that is far too small, and even then I would need someone to TIG it on for me too

Karlos you can buy just that one section from magnex as I done the same thing about 4 years ago, iirc was about £90+vat though. You could buy a full system with a good flexi for that and just flog the rear box and other bits you dont need. I just brought a mongoose system off the internet.

Phoned them today and they dont sell them anymore, only solid now.
I think a complete good second hand one is the answer!

Oh! That sounds good!
Exhaust center? Surely not like a Kwik Fit or Fast Fit?

karlos i make stainless exhausts for a living if only you were closer id happily sort you out i have all lengths and bores on the shelf i get them through longlife exhausts even the longest 4 inch bore ones are 12quid to us, unfortunatley my boss wouldnt let me mail one but he would let me fit it, might be worth contacting your local longlife centre tho they are all over the country.
oh and if your not bothered about looks you can mig onto stainless no problem with standard mild steel wire

No worries mate, shame i'm not a bit closer!

Been offered a Mint flexi from another member on here so I'll probably have that, just waiting in a pic to double check it's condition.

Cheers Fella's!

Karlos - Pipecraft in basildon sorted mine out. I never had one fitted previously and they welded a section into mine. No problems what so ever.

Karlos / Dave,

I was just about to suggest Pipecraft, they have built numerous exhaust for myself and mates in the past with no complaints.

I would def recommend going there, they'll even make you a bespoke system as well and the best thing of all thier work is good and they dont charge a fortune.

Barney

just find a custom exhaust place, e.g. powerflow, would be the cheapest option really.
