I should think it would fit but you'd have different ratio's?

Ok, as said above, not that easy. You will need to know the ratios you are going to need. What I suggest is you count all the teeth on the gears and layshaft ( keep the numbers as pairs of gears ) then get back to us. I have a mountain of stuff so should have something kicking around.

IME The ATB is too harsh for a BC box albeit a very nice diff, a viscous unit is a little more suited to such a weak box.
I sold mine and bought a Puma Racing LSD and although not quite as good as the ATB I wont be changing box's every 10mins lol
Something to consider when you repair yours...

Ok thats good, we could do with the numbers on the othe gears as well to make life easy, sorry.

Although we now know the ratio for 2nd is 53 divided by 26= 2.03:1

Yep, 2nd is the one with 53 / 26. The gear with 13 is reverse, so that needs discounting, so:

1---12 teeth
2---26 teeth(this is the gear that is stipped all its teeth)
3---34 teeth
4---41 teeth

Is 1 the pinion on the end of the shaft ?

And have you counted the teeth on the 1st / 2nd syncro? Just trying to fathom the numbers

i bought this box about three years ago from the gearbox man or bernie boxs i think. so by the look of what your saying it has not got the right gears in it or i have not calculated something write i dont know about these gear raitos so looking at what i ve got is it bad or good i paid 1000 pound for this cash with the atb diff in it as i blew 3 gearboxs in 6 months and up till know it has been great untill i run it on my 1800 high comp lump and then it blew second gear had the car on the rollers and it made 212bhp and 260flb at 10psi on a standard t3 and got a xr2 box in at the minit and its already makin noise so want to get a good box in asap

If its a Bernie box then it will have whatever ratio's specified at the time of building it, if you asked for stock RST ones then that it what you would of got I would think
The CTS box's are no different to a normal BC box at the end of the day it's only the bearings that are bigger, everything else is still just as weak, unless you got the Stage 2+ which is shot peened of course, but that would be around £1500.
