guessing your measuring from edge to edge (this would be 9")

the width is measured from inside the lip where the tyre would sit

its all with the offset getting a 8j wheel on a rs

Stuart thier not catching yet fingers crossed they wont
it was just to see what they looked like
thier a lot wider and less room in the arch then i was expecting
i should of fitted the shock to get a better idea
Gus yea 9" overall

scott, as gus said its all in the offset, should be ok with et25-28, you could fit even 9"s on there with the rite offset

altho im not really fond of it even tho they look great. id normally stick to a 7" wide wheel and a decent offset not to ruin the drive/accelleration/handling others disagree

Mine are 17x8 et 35 and are fine, Scott. The rears are right on the limit of the arches though running coilovers and I need a higher poundage spring as you know to stop them scrubbing over bigger bumps at speed.

I have no spacers on the rear, they clear everything, but I think thats due to running a bell/rota set up at the back.
