Default Braided Brake Lines for Cosworth rears.

Just got all my parts together for converting the rears to Cosworth discs. Im looking to get braided lines to complete, but got a few questions..

1) Do I need to buy a complete set of RS Turbo pipes + the cosworth conversion one's from Burtons.

2) Will normal RS Turbo front lines go into 4x4 calipers (i.e same thread?)?

I'm not sure if the rear flexi pipes are in two pieces or not on a series 2? Cant go out to the car to see either as im working abroad

Tried trawling google images but cant find anything either!

Any help appreciated, Ryan

Nobody? Dont want to have to buy a full set of rs turbo hoses to find out I didnt need them on the rear, or vice-versa.

When you get back just measure up the lenghts of pipe you need for each one and make your own its easy, i done all 4 on our car for about Ł30 - Ł40 iirc, the thread size you want is M10x1, phone www.raceparts.co.uk up and get it all from there.

off the top of my head i used

4x M10x1 bulk head males (longer thread so they can go through your exhisting mounting on the car by the hard lines and you can use a lock nut and a washer to hold it neatly in place)

4xM10x1 lock nuts

2xM10X1 short males to go into your front callipers

lengh of -3 braided hose

2x -3 banjo fittings and 4 M10x1 copper washers to suite

2xM10x1 banjo bolts may need shortening

ive included this pic i know its a cossie but its to show you the banjo fittings on the rear calliper,

hope this helps.

That helps alot mate, ta for that. I already have the goodrich rear hoses with banjo ends from Burton Power.

But, if I buy some for the fronts I can only ever find a full set of 4, so will end up having the rears with no use for them. Think I will just do what you said and get the fronts made up separately.

Ta very much for help!
