t34 water pipes

guys in the know ive just fitted a t34 watercooled to my s1 but the s1 doesnt have the water pipes for it .... some people say to fit s2 water pipes and turbo cooler and swirl pot .....
and others say just leave it whats best advise and if i didnt have it water cooled would it cause damage to the engine.... and at 2bar would it not super heat the coolant..

You probably would experience higher coolant temps under boost, the water cooling is only for shut down to protect the turbo from heat soak, it has no real cooling effect when the car is running so most people belive it unneccesary to run with it connected, although is a tough call mate. It certainly wont do your engine any damage without though, only the turbo if its not spooled/cooled down before shut off.
