Default Carbon Fibre Roof...?

Hi all, im looking into getting a carbon fibre roof for my s2 as mine is rusty (as usual). Ive read that you cant do it without a roll cage....is this true? as i really want to keep my mint interior with that rear seats. cheers guys.

people often have a roll cage as if the car flips up on its roof in a crash etc they like the added protection seen as a carbon roof is pretty much just glued on in effect to a bit of metal round the edge lol

got 1 on my project car,got it from carbon delight, told to cut 4 inches in from side gutters and screen, although you dont loose any strength as you have the frame still people recomend rollcage for safety.
