I have a feeling your going to be getting a few PM's mate, as nice non welded solid shafts for only the price of your labour and the orignal MK5 shafts from a scrappy is going to be far cheaper than the £500 for Jano's ones! 
Being rated to 2500bhp is overkill when BC shafts mostly hold out at 300bhp+ so these ones will do 99.9% of all RST owners without any probs!

hi guys,a we question,is the fiesta rst gearbox difrent to the escort gearbox???as am trying to figure out my proplem in fitting a rst in my mk1 fiesta,the gearbox i have is out of a escort rst and the mountings dont line up with my crossmember???could any1 help me as am in need of getting car going.would be a great help,thanks.

Loads of people on there have done this conversion.

Standard shafts are welded so it's not an issue. Prob with the mk5 setup is it's still an unequal setup so doesn't deal with torque steer as well as the 3 piece setup does.
