ignition advance will be controlled by the ecu map? is on mine, co will need to be under 3.5% depending on age of car, can't remember exact years for the higher limit,
Is your ecu chipped/mapped for a 1600 cvh?
Q reg's are visual check only

thought it may have been ecu controlled. so where abouts would i need to set the dizzy or wouldnt that matter too much?
and havent got CO machine, however the bloke next door has as he is an MOT tester so will bung it on that and have a play around.
damn thing dont even idle atm, and all the sensors are DEFINATELY working 100% and loom is brand new and tested.
could be cam timing out by abit i spose

what ecu are you running, l6 l8 etc
are you running a phase disc or a hybrid distributor?
Is the ecu mapped for a 1600 cvh??????????????????????????????????
Have you set the fuel pressure around 3-3.5 bar
Is the tps set accuratly???????

level 6 ecu with pectel board in it
and phase disc, which is set up 100% as had it running yesterday fine
yup, came off a running cosworth managed 1600 on yellows same as mine
checked fuel pressure to be 3 bar with vacuum which it is
and the throttle sensor is as close to dammit i can get it currently.
however as the car was laid back, and there being hardly any fuel would seem logical that it ran crap after i put it down, so could be due to there not being much fuel supplied, if any!
