Default blowing fuses

can any one help me i keep blowing the fuse om my mk3 escort rs turbo i have no dash lights and all my gauge lights have stopped working any help would be great checked for shorts and so on

Have you done any work on it lately? If so retrace your steps make sure you havnt knocked a wire.

I just had similar problem on xr2, replaced steering column and never realised i had nipped a wire in one of the bolts under the dash. Knocked a tailight out, buzzer and dash lights.. Kept blowing fuses. Took me ages to find it, after checking everything else.

exactly the problem i have tail light out dash lights and gauge lights haven,t done any work lately but looks like ill have to go through the wiring sounds like a good place to start could be the steering column then thanks
