Default zetec engine help

i have a mk4 escort cabriolet running mfi rs turbo, any way i plan to go 2.0 zetec turbo on megasquirt 1 day lol,

i can get hold of a 1999 mondeo 2.0 black top zetec,

what would i need to do to get the engine to fit in my bay and my rs gearbox to fit?

i heard i need to use 1800 parts but i have no idea what,

You need a 1800 sump , dipstick and flywheel. Also you can use a CVH EFI flywheel, only need to drill the bolt holes to 11mm.

You can use your rs turbo gearbox and clutch without modification.

try these out first is the main one for what 1800 parts needed second is for the actual build for the zetec turbo hope these help

cheers people, i will look now, also i hear that some zetec have the starters on the front and some on the rear, will this make a difference?

IMO it's not worth it unless you are going to fit a MTX gearbox, if you build a good ZT engine your set for an easy 300bhp+ and a RST gearbox will simply fall to bits!
Factor that in or just stay CVH with reasonable power

will a mtx75 box take 300bhp? what drive shafts would i need to use for the ,mtx box?
