what speeds have you had your RS to?

Horrible to drive with though really, only good for top speed runs IMO, i'm using a XR3i 4.28 now and thats so much more fun for daily driving

I had it off the clock on my old spec which was 201 BHP, but don't know what "real" speed that equates to. Genuine 120MPH? My new spec, with 100 more BHP and bags mroe torque will top out at 110-120 MPH due to gearbox, but fuck me will it get to those speeds fast!

With my 230bhp lump i managed to to hit 6500rpm in 5th on standard rims which should 146.6mph based on gear ratios and tyre size. GPS was reading 146.
My next one should do significantly more.

145mph according to sat nav on my old gearbox with long final drive in my xr2
on a series one box now and won't get anywhere close to that, not that the car is safe at those speeds, doors start to try to open above 110mph.

Someone I know used to have a fast RST. Was about 300bhp at the time of this video. Looks like it goes OK, I never got a passenger ride in it though.

Does look like it truly lights the wheels up in third at 70mph though, and the roads look totally dry.
I also think it looks like it reaches 6300rpm in fifth, what do you think?
