Question Bit of info required please.

Right, Im having my series 2 converted to run a 2.0 ZVH with cossie management and EFI. My mechanic has asked me to get a Lancia Delta hf Turbo distributor for it!? (iv had a quick look and cant find 1!) Has anyone else herd of this as I was given a list of parts to source at the start of the build and that wasnt on it. Any help much appriciated, Cheers.

presume its to incorporate the phase sensor

this can be emulated with a phase disc and sensor mounted on the cam pulley

spot on mate its to save you having to fabricate a pulley and sensor bracket for the camshaft, i have a rs turbo and cossie cross breed dizzy on mine! it uses the half of the rst dizzy that bolts to the head and half of the cossie dizzy that has rotor arm and phase sensor and they are both welded together!

Dont use a cut and shut or modded dizzy as i would say 99% of the ones i have seen have had issues of some sort. Belive me i have seen a few too..

The best setup for this is an adjustable cam sensor which is available for less than 95 quid if you do some research.

Regards
Jano

By having an adjustable cam sensor why will that change the need for a distributor? How come the cam sensor i bought wont be any good?
