Mines not wanting to part company with the crank, any ideas?
soaked the bolts in wd40, tried a buzz gun and the feckin things wont undo
Anyone know an easy way of locking the flywheel so i can get a cracker bar on there? Dont want to grind the heads off coz i still need the flywheel and i'll end up scoring it if i went down that route...

1/4 drive extension bar through the lowest bolt hole on the block, then use a lever bar to stop the crank from turning with a helping hand from a mate. Then use the correct socket and breaker bar to crack the bolts off.

try a bar and socket on crank pully then use the bar to lock the engine up on the front cross member or the floorpan/chassie leg

Sorted now ta
bolted the alternator adjuster bracket to the flywheel and stuck a 1/4 ext bar through it and one of the web holes, one foot stood on the block and the other stamping on the breaker bar
glad no-one saw me, they'd think i was trying to shag it
