Default Help with Turbo needed!

Hi all, i recently brought a S2 RS which needed rebulding. Im about to put the engine back in however i did not receive many parts with the car. This is also my first RS so i am not familiar with things such as the turbo. I believe that the turbo is water cooled?... but im not sure where the water feeds from. Also which plug is inlet and outlet (for water feed)Any help is appreciated. Graham

S2 rs turbo use T3 water cooled. are the pipes on the turbo? Inlet is from the top radiator hose. outlet is the pipe from the buttom of the turbo and going to the middle of the rad at your left hand

As above the water feed to the turbo comes of the the top radiator and it's a seperat hose that leads back to the radiator. I would have a look at the auto specalist web site they do a turbo water cooler.

Thanks, next questiion... vaccuum pipes. I have loads of different pipes and i know that there are 3 plugs on top of the inlet manifold for them but im not sure what they do or where they go. I think one goes into the ecu??? also do one of these go to the amal valve? and how does the turbo connect. I think someone told me that the vaccuum pipe of the actuator connect to the front of the turbo?
Thanks

i wouldn't bother connecting water cooling up, as long as you warm up and cool down sensibly you won't need it.
that will also help your cooling system cope better too

Should help with your water pipes

excuse the red arrows on it.

this is turbo and associated vac pipes going to amal valve, also note water connections 11 and 24

and this is vacuum pipes from inlet manifold

hope that helps

Thanks guys, thanks stevenC, that helps big time, i notice that the diagrams are the same as ford dealerships use in their parts store. so should most of those parts still be available from ford? And sorry to be a pain but the last bit i need help with is the metering unit... which fuel pipes connect where? (apart from the obvious 4 from the injectors) thanks
