Default Fuel Pump Floor Mount

Took the car for it's MOT today and while it was getting tested, I was having a poke about underneath and managed to destroy the mount that holds the rear of the cradle to the floor.

Found a picture (thanks Twins for your resto post) it is the one in the top right.

Are these still available from Ford/Anywhere?

I have the complete Stainless AS mount, but is the bigger part that this mount attaches to available also!

Temp repaired with a cable tie..........

They are avalabe from ford but it's silly money, I looked into it earlier this week, for the two mount rubbers and main plate of the cradle is £48+ vat and the rubber sectioned bolts in the cradle and £22+vat each! none of the rest of the parts that make the fuel pump cradle are avalable anymore.

Munkeyboy, when I ordered mine which granted was a few years ago it came out at proper silly money from ford, however, the thing that cost the most was that particular mount but the parts guy had ordered one for an escort van rather than the car, its a lot longer if I remember right. Anyway, took it back and got the car one and it wasnt as silly money. Cant remember exact price but might be worth checking the guy was ordering the right one???

Excellent news mate, do you have part numbers so I can see what they will work out trade?

I have the rest of the mount from Auto Specialists and new bobbin mounts.

That was my first thoughts that he had got the price wrong as my local ford (Evens Halshaw) have fucked up a few time for me, so I called TC harrison ford group and they came back with the same price, and the guy i spoke to there explain why the price was so high, he told me a few years back I could have got the lot for under 20 notes, but ford have stopped making them now, so just got a stock of them, so the price has jump up a lot!
