Default zvh block help

hey all all day ive bin trying to find this out, on the zetec block when doing a zvh, i know on a turbo the oil returns got blanked off (4 of em) but im doing n/a 2.0l zvh and was wondering do i have to blank them off still as on the turbo the return comes out the front of the block?

you mean the oil ways in the block that get blocked up, then yes they do need blocking.
it's nowt to do with the turbo it's purely down to cross design between the two engines.

yeh thats where i got the zvh build guide from but it was only for zvh turbo, so really other than the low comp pistons and the oil return on the front of the block the rest is the same process

can i ask why you're not going full zetec in N/A form?
only a well worked head would pursuade me to build another zvh, turbo or otherwise.

1 reason is cos i want it looking stock, i was thinking of full zetec with throttle boddies but its too expensive, eventually im going zvh turbo but at the mo moneys tight, im going to do all the head work myself, but it was just the block i was concerned about as ive built a couple of zvh turbo's but never an n/a zvh's, do ya know how much i can skim off the head before the valve's touch, as i dont wanna do anything to the pistons
