depends on how handy you are...
you need to take the Gbox apart, then its just a matter of change it, but you may aswell change the bearing aswell while you have it apart..
And check the mainshaft that it aint damaged..

just done this at college really more scary then anything just keep all components laid out in the order they came off and take your time and its quite simple really . take pics step byy step to keep you right
getting 5th gear off is the hardest bit
i put a lsd in a diesel box many moons ago
if your putting a diff in a box that never used to have one make sure u change the speedo drive aswell or u will end up stripping the teath off both the speedo drive and the gear on the lsd

The really hard part of the work is getting all bits back into the bellhousing and the gear selector mechanism working properly. Not really a job for someone who has never done that before...
