Default Another Intercooler Question

Today I phone AS about buy a new fan as I broke my in the crash, asked him about fans to sit between intercooler and rad, told me they do some to fit, but told me that moving the intercooler forward to make space gives a problem of the bonnet catch, catching the intercooler, hows do people overcome this problem? My intercooler is the square topped Airtec one.
Cheers

Well it catches a lil but not, could this be down to poor fitting the old owner?

Has anyone else got any idea for what they do, what fans are best to have in between the rad and intercooler, and what to do for the prob of intercooler hitting the bonnet catch.
Cheers all

all u can do is try and drop the cooler down as low as possible, and only space it out the minimum amount needed.

bending the catch is all well and good, but will run the risk of it not latching properly, and then flinging up if it isnt pinned

personally i chose to stick with the fans on the front, plenty of people have no problems with cooling like this, and if your doing the cooler black anyways, u cant exactly see the fans that blatantly
