s2 fuel pump question
ok, when i started buying up parts for my rebuild years ago, i bought what i was told was an uprated bosch fuel pump from jamsport to suit my S2
now when its finally come to using it, im noticing the model number doesnt seem to match any of those listed as uprated rs turbo pump, which i believe wud usually be a 941 or maybe even an 044
mine is a bosch 910, im not sure whether this is even standard spec equipment, or even suitable for an rs turbo
more fool me for believing the supplier and not checking out the small stamped model number when it arrived, but a sneaky move if i have been done here, as i gave them the benefit of the doubt after 1st trying to sell me a used pump as new, which i was assured was just a communication error
if anybody can shed any light on whether or not this pump is suitable for use, it would be great, cos right now im a tad pissed off to be honest, mostly at myself

well if so, disregarding the mixed feelings i have of wanting to shove this down sum1s throat in northampton , will it be ok for use for my spec?
not a big spec by any means, just a new standard bottom end, piper 285t-2, turbo technics stage 2 t3, turbosystems ecu.... etc
if i can at least use this standard pump safely, it will save me having to feel like more of a mug n buy ANOTHER new pump

If its brand new (or as good as new) with fresh wiring so its actually seeing the proper voltage i'd say it would be absolutely fine for at least 200bhp (probably alot more but i can't say for sure)

yeah its brand spanking new in a sealed bosch box, 1st time iv opened it stupidly, otherwise would have noticed the different number
managed to do a google search n mike rainbirds site lists it as an updated version of a standard rs turbo item, 130litres per hour, 5bar, so im guessing that will be fine for my needs, not going for anythin over the 200bhp mark anyways

i needed a new Fuel pump as i started to get Starting problems,
Ollie Fitted me a Bosch 910, as he said mine was no good being Std, so yeah here's a second comment, and from a tuner as he supplied and fitted the parts. Which he stated this is a uprated/Upgrade pump.
That's Norris Motor sport. who also fitted me a new Fuel pump wiring/two way relay system.
