my temp needle is starting to rise above 'N' on the NORM. it does eventualy drop bk dwon hen fan kicks in but im sure this never used to hapen before and it is winter! what could the prob be or am i just being paranoid lol

 

i think they all get hot at times, mine certainly does. i wouldnt worry about it to much but just keep your eye on it mate.
also just check the rad make sure your not losing coolant.

 

If ur worried do a sniff test to check weather the headgasket has gone if its getting exhaust gases into the cooling system this will cause it to get hotter than normal

 

So long as the fans cycle on and off don't worry, at least you'll have a good heater!!
