Default Advice on how to sort out exhaust mani probs

tried to replace the exhaust manifold gaskit today and new studs but one of the wholes does not except the stud and just can't get the stud to fit! what do i need to do? if i left it with no stud in will it be leaking from the stud hole itself?

Is that stud near the centre? Its a locating stud. You should put that in first, before the manifold. The rest can be wound in afterwards.

Alternatively, you can open that centre hole out a little.

Cheers for that!
Just annoys me a bit that the guy who put the head on didn't actually insert the stud in there before putting the manifold on after!
