Default Is this ecu chipped?

Acquired this today (for nowt wahey! ) I dont think its chipped, but its been apart before and why has it got 7T in marker pen on it?

any info apreciated before i stick it in the shed.

Not unless it's been soldered in no, but you need to remove that bent peice of metal with a 'T' written on it to be sure.

thought so.

its a soldering iron job to remove that also though isn't it?

i cant in that case.

no should just be little metal tabs on the back that need a lil twist with a pair of needle nose pliers

Cheers. took that cover off and its the std motorola branded chip.

i didn't know that cover came off so easily.

If you are struggling for storage space I heard Simon (Flux Capacitor) is happy to 'store' ECU's.
