just been out in my rs turbo and was ragging it in second and it went right up and past 6000rpm then the car cut out before i could clutch it or take my foot of throttle.it died but i didnt need to start it again it just carried on wat happened ????????????????

Yeah be the limiter mate,my rev counter wasnt workin properly when it went on the rollers and mine did it,runnin up lovely then all of a sudden burr and it died for a few seconds then was fine again

my friend set it up for me.he said he set the co and wat he could do with wat he had.i want to get it set up proply on rolling road cus it boost well in 1st and 2nd but the boost dont make that much of diff in the rest of the gears i dont no if cus he only set it at 6psi.it goes up to 10 the back down to 6 psi is it ment to do this ?? this is y i think it needs setting up on a rolling road

it'll be because he can't set up the fuelling on boost without a wideband lambda setup and det detection equipment.
no wonder you didn't feel boost up the gears.
it won't have the same feel in higher gears as the power is more spread out due to gear ratios andthusly won't get through the revs as quickly under throttle.
