Default replacing boost gauge.

Hello everyone i have a new boos gauge for my s2 and i would like to fit it so it replaces the old one do i just disconnect the old one and plug the hosing into the new one or is there a special was i am meant to do it ??.

it should be a simple case of take yours out and put new one in... assuming they're the same size etc...

glad u asked this lol ive just bought a tim 1 to match my other gauges and get rid of the crappy 1 i had and wondered the same

Some use tiny pipe and some use bigger stuff, but it all comes out of the same size hole on the inlet, if it doesn't plug straight in at the gauge end, trace the vacum hose through the bulkhead and simply replace the lot. easy peasy .

lol well mine had some dodgy wiering behing it. the light on the boost gauge was connected to the heater switch bulbs and would only turn on when i had my car lights on. so i disconected it from there and reconected it to the cd player wiering so the lights always on when the ignigtion is on. (i have a smoked gauge)
